| "From the moment I came across an article about FitKids in the ‘Sunday Independent’, I knew that to work as a FitKids licensee was a fantastic opportunity. I was working as a Sales Manager for BT Ireland for 10 years; huge sales targets - long hours - confined to an office all day - sitting in traffic on the way home and having to get up so early etc. The office had become my home from home and I wanted to find a new career that allowed my to have a better lifestyle and to exercise, I found it with FitKids, it changed my life – literally. Teaching children fitness had never been something I saw myself doing, but when I looked in to the Fitkids franchise Opportunity - this was the way forward - an exciting new career change. I gave in my notice and secured the Fitkids Franchise for the Fingal area in North Dublin. I began my training with FitKids and before long I was teaching Fitkids classes and running my own business. I truly get a great buzz and sense of fulfillment from the sheer joy and excitement evident on the faces of the kids waiting for me each week to start the Fitkids class. I have a new Fitkids Branded car, which helps to promote me as a FitKids birthday party entertainer aswell as the classes and camps I offer. I started my business last September and even though Ireland is in a recession I have over 20 weekly classes (pre-school age) in addition to the birthday parties and event business I am getting. I haven’t even started to prospect to primary schools yet! I will also run summer camps in Malahide, Swords and Balgriggin this summer for weeks in July and August. I have hired and trained a couple of Fitkids Instructors who help me to delver my classes etc. and I intend to build and grow my business further and earn good money. My hours are social and I have more time for my personal life, best of all I am my own boss with excellent support from head office. What has also been great is that Fitkids provides an Intranet Management system to help me manage my business and take bookings. Without this it would be impossible to keep track of leads and sales, it is invaluable.
